Winter Hen Party News

13/12/2013
Getting married in the New Year and wondering what on earth to do on a Hen Party that falls in the weeks around Christmas? Make the most of this festive season of course! There’s nowhere better to be at Christmas time than enjoying the festivities and buzz of a Christmas Market.

If you and your girls are looking for a Christmas Hen party idea, look no further. Many of us don’t have to travel too far to visit a Christmas Market, and no matter what or where the City is, it makes the perfect back drop for a girly night of fun.

Once you’ve decided on the date for your hen party, let all your girls know that your weekend/day will be filled with festive fun! Send out your invitations with lots of sparkles and glitter and make sure you ask your hens to wrap up warm for the evening ahead.

Before your party hits the Christmas Markets, plan to spend a little time shopping and enjoying your city break; every lady loves to shop and there’s sure to be no complaints where retail therapy is concerned! An afternoon of shopping is also a great chance for your hens to pick up some last minute Christmas presents.

Christmas markets make the perfect winter wonderland, filled with sparkling lights, festive music and a merry atmosphere. Bring your hens to the markets late afternoon and indulge in some gorgeous food, mulled wine and make sure to sample the treats on offer; you are guaranteed a relaxed evening with lots of laughs.

If you’re looking for something extra to do on your Hen Party, do a little research into what else is happening in and around your destination. Many towns and cities will have Christmas activities specially set up for this time of year, particularly temporary ice rinks which make for an evening of great craic!

So whilst Christmas can be a busy time for many of us, don’t feel that your hen party needs to be kept low key; you can make the most of this wonderful time of year!
