Cavan Stag Do Guide

County Cavan is a county in the Republic of Ireland and is in the provence of Ulster with Fermanagh being its only border with a Northern Irish county. It also borders Leitrim, Monaghan, Meath, Westmeath and Longford. Cavan is gaelic for ‘The Hollow’ which may have something to do with the mountains in Cavan! An interesting fact about Cavan is that it is thought the classic novel Gulliver's Travels wrote by author Dean Jonathan Swift was penned whist he was staying in the village of Mullagh in Cavan.
