What You'll Need

  • Smurf Costume
  • Smurf Hat
  • Blue Body Paint

Get The Smurfs Look

Firstly, your stag lads need to invest in blue body paint, and lots of it!!! Cover your faces and bodies whichever way you please and stick to white clothing to finish off the look. To create a fully authentic Smurf style of clothing, your stags can buy the outfits in the Partydo Party Store or have some fun making smurf style clothes out of some white sheets themselves! Finish off with a Smurf hat, either by buying it online or having a go at it also. If your stags have any dodgy looking white footwear, now is the time to show them off once again! Not since the eighties has white clothing been such a hit but your Smurf coloured stags are sure to pull it off when they go out on the town to celebrate the stag do!

Stag Day Activity

Perhaps while your Smurf stags are dressing up in their blue and white attire, they can nominate which stag gets which Smurf name. In the popular cartoon series back in the eighties, the main Smurf characters were called Papa Smurf, Lazy Smurf, Baby Smurf, Baker Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Brainy Smurf, Handy Smurf, Farmer Smurf, Greedy Smurf and Grouchy Smurf. Your stag do lads can then add on extra accessories to their outfit that corresponds with the name they’ve be given!

Also, if your stag party group feel like they aren’t humiliating their groom enough, it’s become a popular trend to hire a dwarf, get him to dress up in the Smurf gear and handcuff him to the groom for the entire night. It’s just an added bit of blue madness!

Obviously if your stags want to see how to dress exactly like a Smurf, they should look up some online videos of the original cartoon for some inspiration! Not many celebrities tend to go for this look when they hit the red carpet but simply Google pictures of human Smurfs and your stag party lads can pick up plenty of tips on how to imitate it! JLS kicked off A-List Marvin Humes stag do by hand cuffing a dwarf to his wrist! If it's good enough for JLS we're sure it is for any of you stag lads!
