Hen Weekend Fashion

21/08/2014
Happy Friday ladies and welcome to another edition of Fashion Fridays by Anna. This week I have gone back to a ‘look book’ style blog. I have created various looks to cover the whole weekend whatever you get up to. From shopping chic to glamorous goddess to the comfy casuals!

GIRLS DAY OUT

First off let’s start with a look that is perfect for a day out shopping with the girls. Think comfortable, quick to remove when trying on clothes but yet still super stylish. This striped pencil skirt is perfect for this look and is just £7.99 from H&M, match this with a basic tee, perhaps one with a cute slogan to give a current and girly vibe, the one I have chosen is just £15 from Dorothy Perkins!

Now to accessorise your outfit; Red goes great with Black & White and with this in mind I have selected a pair of Red Michael Kors Ballet Pumps £120 from Zalando and for those of you that love a coloured lip I have recommended MACs range of lipsticks, this one is ‘Russian Red.’ Finally, what sort of a shopping trip would it be without a statement handbag?! For this look I have chosen the bag of the moment – The Michael Kors ‘Jet Set Travel Leather Tote’ in size medium, this bag will sting you £240 at Selfridges, but let’s face it, its worth it!

HEN NIGHT FASHION

For a night out I always look forward to getting dolled up and into the most glamorous dress I can get my hands on, and this one is exactly that; retailing at £75 from Warehouse it is a steal! The bandeau neckline is ultra-feminine and the bodycon material will suck you in in all the right places (Just make sure to pick the best fit for your figure to avoid back cleavage – not a good look!) This dress deserves to be complimented with a pair of incredible heels and because of the various colours on this dress you have a wide range to choose from. In this case however I have went with the shoe of the Stars, the Louboutin, this particular style is Vendome Black Patent and is £545 online.

Accessorize with a clutch and jewellery of your choice – don’t go to mad though, a pair of statement earrings and a subtle bracelet is more than enough to complete this look.

HEN DAY FASHION

This next look takes us back to the comfy casuals, but still maintains the pretty and feminine look, the best way to do this I find is to incorporate floral and lace! At the weekend I just love getting into my jeans, and these ones have been tried and tested by me - I just love them, they are affordably priced at just £22.99 from New Look and although they are skinny fit they are stretchy, give you a great shape all whilst maintaining your comfort. Add a fresh white vest with lace trim from H&M £5.99 and team either with a loose fitting floral shirt, £42 from Warehouse or a fashion favourite, the Kimono, this one is a bargain at £19.99 from New Look. Finish the look with flats/Wedges/heels depending on what you are planning for the day and a beautiful simplistic watch, £195 from Ted Baker.

PAJAMA PARTY

To wrap up this week’s blog I am going to end with this cute set of PJ’s – they are that cute maybe you could just stay in these all weekend instead! £14.99 at my all-time favourite shop – H&M!

That's all for this week ladies! Until next time..
