Kate Middleton Gives Birth To A Royal Baby Boy!

23/07/2013
It's a boy for new parents Prince William and Kate Middleton as world celebrates future King!

Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge married in April 2011, William and Kate continue to be the most popular British royals. The couple’s spectacular wedding was the ceremony of the century for royal watchers around the world.

But when St. James’s Palace announced in December 2012 that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were expecting their first baby, both families were delighted with the news.

On Monday 22nd July 2013, Buckingham Palace broke the news by releasing an official statement which confirmed that Kate Middleton had given birth to a little baby boy at 4.24pm, with the new Prince of Cambridge weighing in at 8lb 6oz. Hooray!

31 year-old Kate was joined by the devoted dad-to-be William, mum Carole and sister Pippa along with the rest of the Middleton family as she welcomed her little one into the world at St Mary’s hospital in Paddington.

Proud father Prince William has now spoken out for the first time about becoming a new dad to the third in line to the throne. In a short statement released last night, the 31-year-old Duke of Cambridge gushed about him and wife Kate: “We could not be happier!”
