Hen Party Fashion Inspired By Kate Middleton

01/08/2013
You seen Kate Middleton wearing Polka Dots with baby George just last week and ever since stores across the UK and Ireland are selling out of all things 'Polka Dot'.  Our fashion Guru Louise Vance reveals what's hot for hen parties in POLKA DOT!
Staying Stylish in Regal Polka Dots by Lousie Vance aka REAL ELLE WOODS.

Last week the Duchess of Cambridge proved what a style icon she is once again as she emerged from hospital with baby Prince George wearing an effortlessly chic polka dot dress by Jenny Packham. From the first moment it was announced to the world that she was dating the world's most eligible bachelor, through her engagement and subsequent marriage to Prince William, we've all been captivated with her style!

Always keeping it simple with classically cut dresses, in block colours, or simple prints this has been the key to steal her style, and while Kate may now be a wife and mother, her style is still perfect for the hen party who wants a chic and classic look!

Since being photographed wearing polka dots only last week, it has turned into a massive micro trend, whether you want to go full out with a polka dot dress, or spruce up an outfit with polka dot accessories, there is a way to wear polka dots that will suit all body types and ages of hen parties!

Browsing through the various brands on offer from House of Fraser, I found a great variety of styles, from young and flirty skater dresses, to classic shift dresses. Monochrome, through to strong colour statements, will work well for those hen parties who want to stand out from the crowd!

While the fun loving hen party can opt for a crazy polka dot 60's style shift dress. The hen party who wants a more typically classic look can opt for an investment buy with this stunning MaxMara spotted dress that wouldn't be out of place at a Royal Garden Party!!

For a hen party lady who is scared to go all out in polka dots, why not try adding them to your ensemble though accessories! A classic polka dot cropped jacket will take your classic LBD and elevate it to the next level, or how about adding a glamorous metallic scarf from Oasis or some bling with these fabulous diamanté earrings from Mikey!!

A fun and flirty trend that retains a classically chic look, why not embrace the polka dot trend and give it a go at your hen party!
