5 BEAUTY TIPS FOR HEN NIGHT GLAMOUR

This week we are delighted to welcome our new beauty blogger Victoria Stokes who is hot on trend with ensuring you look great for that all important hen night out or girly weekend away! Victoria reveals her top 5 beauty hacks that will save you money and ensure you look damn gorgeous!

FOR LIPSTICK THAT LASTS ALL NIGHT

Apply your fave lip colour as normal. Then take a tissue and lightly place it over your lips. Dust a small layer of translucent powder over the tissue, this will allow just enough of the powder to filter through and set the lipstick without making your lips look cakey. Remove the tissue and et voila, lipstick that won’t smudge off on your first glass of bubbly!

FOR FULL LASHES WITHOUT FLASIES

False lashes can be hella awkward to apply. Ditch the fuss and achieve flirty, fluttery lashes by trying this instead: Apply a fresh coat of mascara and let it dry. Take a cotton bud and dip it into translucent powder. Run the powder along the length of your lashes and across the lashline. Then apply a second coat of mascara. It will adhere to the powder, giving your lashes a much longer and fuller look. Easy Peasy and beautifully glam!

FOR THE PERFECT EYELINER FLICK

Off to a ‘Hollywood Starlets’ themed hen party but can’t master Marilyn Monroe’s eyeliner flicks? Grab a credit card, line it up along the outer corner of your eye where you want the line to be and simply slick the eyeliner along it, using the credit card as a ruler. Perfect, Ms Monroe.

FOR SPEED DRYING YOUR NAIL POLISH

How infuriating is it when you smudge your fresh manicure? If you’re rushing out the door before your polish is dry, then dip your nails into ice water for just a few seconds and it will help to set the polish speedy fast, leaving you extra minutes to gossip with your fellow hens.

FOR CONCEALING DARK CIRCLES

Turns out we've been doing it wrong all along ladies. Instead of the usual dotting method, you need to apply concealer in a triangle shape under the eye, making sure to give the inner corners of the eye good coverage as the skin tends to be darker here. Then simply blend the concealer outwards with your fingertips to properly conceal dark circles and achieve a more flawless look. Perfect for hiding a late night!

That’s all from me this week ladies, I hope you have found my tips helpful!
Join me next time for my beauty buy of the week!

Have a great weekend...
