FESTIVAL FASHION 2014

Heading to a festival for your hen party? From maxis to minis, bold prints to block colours and a whole heap of accessories, here’s all the inspiration you need to look totally hip at the festivals you're heading to this Summer!

1) What to wear to a festival?

Packing for festivals is HARD. It's always such a challenge to put together a capsule wardrobe that's stylish, practical, mud-proof and light enough to pack in a rucksack. Argh. There are so many amazing festival inspired pieces online and on the high street at the moment that I found it so hard to narrow it down to just a few, but here is just a small selection to give you some ideas and inspiration.

River Island Floral Shirt Playsuit @ £25.ASOS Rain Mac with Henna Print @ £45.00.New Look Red Chiffon Ditsy Floral Layered Playsuit @ £12.99. Boo Hoo.Lia Daisy Trim Denim Hot pants @ £20.

3) Festival Hairstyles

The secret to festival hair is to keep it effortless and lose. If you are attending the festival over a few days washing your hair will be an issue so braids could be your best friend, also head scarfs and hats will be a great cover up when your hair has seen fresher days.

Another festival must have for your hair is dry shampoo. It allows you to freshen up greasy hair in between washes an also adds volume for styling.

My favourite is Batiste dry shampoo which can be found in most pharmacies, now 1/3 off @ boots.

4) Festival Make Up Ideas

Festival make up can be interpreted in two ways. It can be either over the top and colourful or simple and light. A

festival is one of the few places you can get away with over the top theatrical make up so why not go all out and experiment. If you would rather keep your make up to a minimal, which might be a good idea if you’re lucky enough to get a hot and sunny summer day, keep it sun kissed and fresh.
