1) Great Gatsby Hen Party

The 20s was an era of glitz and glamour as well as stunning evening wear, stylish flapper dresses, hats, feather fans and glittery headbands. So if you think your bride-to-be loves glamour and elegance, then she may well love a Great Gatsby themed hen party! Ask the ladies to come in cocktail dresses - some can also come in trousers and braces too! Accessorise these with sparkly hair bands, fascinators, ribbons, brooches, feather boas and strings of pearls. Make the bride-to-be's outfit stand out a little more and have long strings of pearls, gloves and feather headpieces.

2) Boho Hen Party

Boho hen party themes are great for a hen party in the summertime! With pretty floral head wear and summer like dresses, your bohemian hen party will be well on it's way! First, let’s start with bohemian headbands - these floral headbands are super cheap to buy and even easier to make! Wear them in your hair to add extra chic style as well as extras to your outfit such as lots of bangles on your arms, loose clothing from dresses to skirts and vintage jewellery. Boho hen parties are easy to decorate as it's all about old throws, cushions and candles! If you're wanting a hen party activity, try something like outdoor glamping, pony trekking, boat rides and afternoon tea parties.

3) 1950s Housewife

Practise makes perfect, so why not try this 1950s housewife hen party theme? For a vintage housewife look you'll need a dress, preferably polka dot or something close to it, with your hair either curled, pinned back or even in victory rolls (which you'll see in Vintage Hairstyles). Decorate the room with cute paper bunting and have hen party games organised for girly fun! You could also have some party drinks nearby such as cocktails and homemade punch! Keep the party food easy, finger food is ideal! Stick to small cut triangle sandwiches, pastry rolls, fruit kebabs, cheesecake etc... Carry at least one vintage item such as a long scarf, extra large handbag or jewellery!
