This week I reveal my top 3 tips on how to make your hen party one to remember! After all the "last fling before the ring” needs to be unforgettable before your bestie heads off on the next chapter of her life!

Weddings can be very emotional events and a trip down memory lane may be a nice idea to incorporate into the hen party.

Why not prepare a scrap book full of random or fun photos from your past, favourite quotes and good luck messages from all her nearest and dearest?

While on Pinterest I came across a personalised wedding calendar! It contained little pouches and envelopes for each day leading up to the wedding. You and your besties could fill each pouch or envelope with a small gift or little piece of advice for married life ahead? This would certainly make a super cute hen party gift!

Hen Party Gift Bags 




As bridesmaid it is your job to make sure that everything goes perfectly so that the bride-to-be can kick back and relax on the hen weekend. The event is all about her and not you, so be sure to organise activities and accommodation that you know is to her taste. 


Let the bride-to-be see that you are taking your bridesmaid duties seriously by creating gift bags for everyone! Fill each bag with novelty SOS items for the morning after - such as headache tablets, mints, mini moisturiser, dry shampoo, face wipes a bar of chocolate and a bottle of water! Believe me everyone will thank you for this the next morning!

Hen Party Décor




Most hen parties will opt for a themed hen party! I suggest you go one step further and theme your entire décor too! The decor can make a big impression during the hen party and you’re best to concentrate on specific areas like the dining table, cocktail station etc! Quirky tip: Tons of stylish helium balloons can look great floating from the ceiling (be sure to forget the balloon weights)!

I genuinely think it’s important to take time to personalise the overall hen party, it really shows that you have went the extra mile for your bestie! As long as you start preparations in advance I am sure the bride will be able to look back in fondness! You are the bridesmaid so don’t be afraid to do your best while having fun along the way!
