New Year Hen Party Detox

Let me start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

I’m sure that many of you have had your fair share of alcohol over the Christmas period to do you a life time! Perhaps now you are taking part in ‘Dry January’ or taking it easy for a few months to Detox! Not to worry ladies, there are plenty of fun hen party ideas that don’t involve copious amounts of alcohol and those dreaded hangovers!

Hen Party Spa Days

A spa day is one of the most luxurious things to do for your hen party and there is nothing your body needs more after the Christmas break than a day of pampering and pure relaxation. Book your ladies into a luxury spa and enjoy the many relaxing treatments on offer such as a Full Body Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Facial or even a Seaweed Bath! Check out the many Spa providers and accommodation offers HERE.

Hen Party Detoxing

We always hear that at this time of year we should be cleansing and detoxing ourselves as a new year begins! A proper cleansing routine using naturally detoxifying ingredients can really work wonders on us ladies and can also really help us to achieve amazing health benefits. A simple detox program can be easily integrated into a healthy lifestyle to give you the best results and get you back on track for the year ahead! The most obvious and simple tip is to drink plenty of water!

Who said detoxing has to be boring! Detox smoothies are a delicious and fun way to get rid of all those ‘not so nice’ chemicals in our system! Take a sneak peak at some of the most delicious and easy to follow detox smoothie recipes HERE.

Hen Party Hangover Cures

If your ladies decide not to take part in ‘Dry January’ then here are a few helpful tips on how to ease the pain the morning after the night before! There are many myths about hangover cures but the most effective is simply to rehydrate the body by drinking plenty of water. Herbal teas and sports drink such as, Milk Thistle, Green Tea, Honey and Lemon or Powerade may also help to ease the symptoms but unfortunately I have yet to come across a hangover free morning! See our top Hen Party Hangover Cures HERE.

Sweat It Out

Exercise is another great way to clear your head and get rid of those nasty alcoholic toxins. Going for a jog with a pounding sore head may not sound like a good idea, but it will speed up your recovery and leave you feeling better for the rest of the day.

We all start the new year with the best of intentions, to be healthier and to look after our bodies! However, it is not always the easiest thing to do and sometimes we run out of enthusiasm but small changes to your daily routine can still yield amazing results!
I hope you have enjoyed reading my first post of 2016 and that I have inspired you to stick to your New Year’s resolution, or at least how to manage your hangover!

Until next week ladies..
