Champagne Breakfast Hen Party

By definition a champagne breakfast is ‘a breakfast served with champagne or sparkling wine. It is a new concept in some countries and is not typical of the role of a breakfast. It may be part of any day or outing considered particularly luxurious or indulgent’ and what better reason to be indulgent?

People often make plans well in advance so the breakfast option is especially good if you have had short notice as most people will be available to attend.

Keep it casual and pick your favourite cafe for a relaxed beginning to the day! If you have a budget to stick to and don’t mind the extra work then why not host it at your house or a friends?

What to Eat?

Keep in mind it is breakfast and it could be a long day ahead so go easy on the champagne or at least make sure that everyone gets enough to eat ? Crepes, french toast or bacon and eggs are all easy and popular options to for your guests. For those health conscious or on a wedding diet, you should supply fresh fruit, yogurts and a variety of cereals.

Set up a mimosa bar to kick start everyone’s day but make sure you remember to have a few non-alcoholic drinks for those who don’t or can’t drink.

If like me you have a total sweet tooth, some Danish pastries and French macaroons maybe a nice little touch to round off what could be the perfect breakfast.

As it is breakfast I would suggest keeping the decorations simple, pretty and bright. Table decorations could be as simple as some freshly cut garden flowers, some pretty napkins to match and a personalised place setting for everyone.

Of course this could also be the perfect end to the perfect hen weekend away. You could always surprise the girls with a room service breakfast but it may not be well received by all after a night out.
