Hen Party Beach Fashion Trends

For those of you who have friends getting married who love chasing the sun - or maybe you yourself are a bit of a sun worshipper and planning a hen party - a long sunny weekend away in a hot, sunny country may be your venue of choice. Whilst the weather isn’t always so hot during our winter, finding yourself jetting off to top up your tan is the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a new swimsuit or bikini...or both.

Triangl is the swimwear brand that’s definitely having an Instagram moment right now, and is popular with sun lovers all over the world. Their neon colours are striking against a holiday tan, whilst their distinct edging makes them an instantly recognisable clothing piece. The black trim gives shape, along with the scuba neoprene material, for a soft bikini feel. The Triangl bikini above mixes neon mint and candy mint – neon bright versions of the “it” colours this season, amplifying the colours for bright weather. Wear this for hen parties in party hotspots, such as Ibiza, teamed with coloured mirrored sunglasses for maximum impact.

If boho is more your style than bright colours this high waited two piece from ASOS is amazing. The colour palette of black, white and burnt oranges are a change to the usual sunshine colours of bikinis, so it’s a great way to stand out for all the right reasons at your hen party. The lace up ties down the sides of the bottoms and at the back of the top add fun details, keeping with the boho vibe. The bustier style of the top paired with the high waited bikini bottoms adds to the vintage feel whilst also being figure flattering and very in style. Team with a crochet cover up to keep with the festival look.

Bikinis aren’t the only form of swimwear available -there are plenty of one pieces to choose from too. The Topshop Mawi swimsuit is super flattering, gathering into a halter neck style to balance out the daring front plunge and low back. The bright floral colour pops against a golden tan so is great for a hen party abroad but is also great for a spa weekend if you want a change from the standard bikini. Add a coral lip to make your look even brighter, with gold jewellery to match the gold detailing of the neckline.

Swimwear 365

Whether you’re on the beach or stepping out of a hot tub, it’s always good to have a cover up ready. Swimwear365 has loads of options, with this striped batwing style being one of my personal favourites. The batwing shape creates a loose, comfy silhouette, perfect for a casual cover up, but the drawstring waist and fitted skirt part allows it to be fashionable and create a great shape. Keep accessories simple and let the bright, fun colours do the talking.

Ladies, whether you plan to stay in the country for your hen celebrations or jet off to the sun, there’s swimwear to suit whatever you get up to. A great fitting, stylish piece of swimwear can be an amazing investment piece – so don’t forget to book yourself another sunshine holiday later on in the year!
