Shearwater Hotel provides a number of possible accommodation options for you and your hens. All standard rooms are fitted with a queen sized bed. The Double and Single Rooms also feature a single bed; while the Family Rooms have both an extra single bed and a pullout bed. All of these rooms also include access to the leisure centre so you and your girls can enjoy a splash in the pool or relax in the steam and sauna rooms. If you want to upload a selfie or two during your stay (just to let the stags know you’re behaving!), you can use the complimentary Wi-FI that is available in every room. If it gets a bit over-heated with the whole hen party getting ready together, don’t let the humidity ruin your newly-straightened hair, with self-controlled air conditioning in all rooms as standard. There’s also a hair dryer provided so you don’t have to weigh down your suitcase bringing your own. The next morning you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in your room while watching the plasma-screen television. Check out isn’t until 12pm but you can add an extra few hours to your stay for €25!

If you fancy something even more luxurious, there are also Executive and Presidential Suites available. These have all the features of the other rooms with a few lavish additions. The Executive Suite has a separate living area with a pull out twin bed and some even have a private balcony! There are two Presidential Suites in the hotel which have a plasma screen television in each living space; a spacious living/dining room with an entertainment system and a luxury marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. With these suites you and your girls won’t even want to leave the hotel!

The Canal Bar and Bistro at the Shearwater Hotel is the best place for you and your hens to kick off a fun weekend of celebrations. With a wine menu; cocktail menu; and a full range of craft beer available so that all tastes are covered. The Canal Bar and Bistro also features live weekend entertainment every Friday-Sunday night from 10pm so that you and your hens can dance and sing the night away! There is also a huge array of dishes available in the bar catering for all dietary needs including vegetarian and coeliac dishes. The menu also helpfully highlights all possible allergens to ensure that all your hens are catered for. For all the girls in the group with a sweet tooth, the Canal Bar Desserts include warm chocolate pudding; cheesecake; and banoffi pie so you can treat yourself and forget about dress fittings for one weekend! Food is served until 9.15pm during the week and until 10pm Friday to Sunday!

The Marina Restaurant is a favourite amongst the locals and also a great discovery for visitors to Marina Point. Again, the Marina Restaurant offers vegetarian and gluten-free dishes so that all your hens are catered for. Offering salads; burgers; steaks; seafood; and chicken, everyone in your hen party is sure to be pleased with the menu on offer at the restaurant at Shearwater Hotel. A wide choice of wine is available too so you and the girls can enjoy a glass or two before hitting the town!
