Activities

Farm Hen Party Activities

A day out at Causey Farm is one your hen party girls will treasure forever! Begin your day as model farm housewives by putting on your aprons, rolling up your sleeves and feeding the animals. Learn how to milk a cow before heading indoors for a lovely lesson on baking brown soda bread.

Feel the Irish rhythm brewing inside as your hen party girls beat on bodhràn drums and tap their feet along to lively music. Pull on the wellies and jackets as your hen party group hop onto a trailer and are driven by a tractor to the ‘bog’! Splash around in the mud and play the hilarious hen party game of bog jumping!

Sit down with your hen do farm girls during the day to a lovely pot of tea and a generous slice or two of the brown soda bread made earlier with your own fair hands. We also offer great value packages that can include lunch and snacks for your hen party ladies to tuck into when they feel ravenous. There’s no nicer way to celebrate a hen day of activities than at the welcoming Causey Farm!

Went here at the weekend with my hens and had a great time! Loads of laughs, craic and fun to be had. You can get as dirty or stay as clean as you like so don't let the muck put you off from having a great time. Maria was our guide and was excellent keeping us in craic and her scones are amazing. Great days craic and everyone enjoyed it! Looking for an excuse to get back.

Absolutely so much fun. Our host was Donnacha and he was so good he looked after us so well. Fun packed few hours baking bread, dancing, learning the bodhrán, milking cows and a dip in the bog! Endless fun really enjoyed it!
