There are a few bars at Bath racecourse that will be of particular interest to you and your friends, namely the Ground floor Beckford Bar and the Traditional Pub Style Castle & Bell. You can enjoy a pint from the draught in close proximity to the track so you don't miss a second of the action.
As briefly mentioned before, the Royal Crescent Restaurant boasts an amazing dine dining experience, combining quality cuisine with rapid racing. Your table will be reserved for the entire race with a balcony overlooking the track, making it the ideal way to spectate the races.
Alternatively, you can get the perfect alfresco experience at the Roof Garden, which is blessed with spectacular views of the city of Bath. This exclusive area has a limited capacity and requires a smart dress code, with a dedicated bar serving a premium range of drinks. You can also get amazing food here, with the chef preparing it straight from the grill, specialising in burgers which include steak, halloumi, jerk chicken and smoked pork.
Location
Conveniently located two miles north of the city centre, Bath Racecourse is just six miles south of Junction 18 of the M4 Motorway and is well sign-posted from all major routes to its location on Lansdown Hill.
The Bath Racecourse Shuttle Bus costs £4 for a single journey and £5 for a return ticket. The bus picks up from Manvers Street (Stop Bf) outside Bath Spa train station.
Alternatively, you can also travel to the racecourse by train. You can reach Bath Racecourse from both the main London Paddington and South Wales lines. There are also regular connections from Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham.
