Autumn Fashion 2014

Autumn is a popular season of the year, where people enjoy the fashion better than Summer - it's a known fact! We much prefer wrapping ourselves in snuggly coats and layers of soft knit and with shops receiving their first delivery of new season, here’s all you need to know!

High Street Autumn Trends

Is there anything better than finding yourself a bargain? This week I have chosen a range of new line clothing all priced under £40! As the weather is turning that little bit colder I have added in some warm accessories to team with your outfits also.

First off I have to start with Florence and Fred for Tesco. This new line for A/W is fantastic and so reasonably priced! Some stores have more to offer than others, so take yourself to the website to get the bigger picture of what’s available. My two favourite items from this line are: These pretty Red floral shorts £14 (wear with a pair of tights as the weather turns colder!) And these FAB black open toe boots just £30 – wear these with your ripped turneded up at the ankle boyfriend jeans or with a bold shift dress for that edgy look.

Another bargain I have stumbled across are these Lace finished tops from H&M £7.99, these are available in a range of colours and go with almost anything! I recently paid 3 times the price for a similar top in Topshop – gutted!

Next, for those of you that love finishing off your outfit with a bold statement – here are some affordable top-layers! This Pink textured blazer will add colour & sophistication £14 from George at Asda (comes in black also!) and this ethnic print blanket cardigan is £24.99 from New Look – I will most definitely be purchasing this!

Another few items I will be be-lining for this weekend are: this beautiful crystal statement necklace from Zara, retailing at £29.99 it is a must – It will go with virtually any colour and will really add sparkle to the plainest of outfits. As well as this, I am loving this structured maroon coloured bag from H&M £29.99, maroon is a great colour for the autumn and looks awesome against black.

Autumn Outfits 2014

To finish off this week’s blog I have selected 3 Autumn/Winter basic essentials for your wardrobe.

Nothing says hello Autumn better than buying a new scarf, this beautiful scarf is bright & cosy and is £22 from River Island, the tartan pattern is classic and compliments various colours.

As well as Black trousers I think tan/camel coloured trousers are a great buy for your Autumn wardrobe, take these skinny trousers £14.99 and combine with the ethnic print blanket cardigan mentioned above for a warm autumn look. The tan trousers also work well with the tartan scarf and jumpers like this one - Topshop’s knits are great and wash well without distortion, so although this piece is £38 it will last you season after season – after all, when does a white swing jumper go out of style?

Until next time...
