Angels Themed Hen Party

This week Ciara has come up with an angels theme. She has provided ideas on clothes, accessories and makeup. Bring back the childhood Christmas costume.

Christmas Hen Party Angels

As it’s nearly December lets continue the Christmas theme with an angelic Christmas angel theme. Angel fancy dress is one of the most popular Christmas fancy dress choices. Think back to being at school if you dare, every girl got to be a sweet angel in the school play. If a sweet little angel isn’t what you’re looking for this blog might give you some great ideas on how to vamp up your angel fancy dress costume this Christmas season.

An Angelic Outfit

You can even create your own costume using accessories this will give you a lot more choice on the look you want to go for. You will still need the wings and the halo but you can add anything else with it. You may want to wear a little white or silver dress instead of a costume dress. Alternatively there is a wide range of full costumes to be found online.(Below) ANOUSHKA G Crystal embellished party dress £245 available from House of Fraser. All over sparkle clutch £32 available from Accessorize. Rolo skinny strappy sandals £30 available at Topshop.

Angelic Accessories

Of course no Christmas angel would be complete without her wings and glowing halo. If you want to go old school you can use some silver tinsel and coat hangers to fashion your own halo and wings but if arts and crafts are your strongest talent then there is plenty of choice online. If you want to try your hand at making your own I have included some Youtube links below to help you. (Below) Large angel wings £11.34 available from wonderlandparty.co.uk. As it's getting very cold out there why not cover up your legs with a pair of glitter tights. Again these are available online or can be made easily at home using a pair old tights and a tub of loose glitter.

Angelic Makeup

For this look I would suggest to keep your makeup very light and natural with a hint of colour and glitter around the eyes. Of course if you want something a bit more dramatic for your big night out just add lots more glitter and sparkle.

I hope you have enjoyed this week’s blog. Please come back next week for another Christmas inspired theme to get you in the mood for the party season ahead.

Until next week ladies happy Christmas shopping, I hope it’s not too stressful.
